Casa Serena was a great experience, I am so happy to be a Casa Lady. :)
Casa Serena is an amazing rehab. It taught me Honesty, Love, Kindness, Tolerance and Love. I'm great full for all the staff and sisters. Also, the tools I've learn have help me grow and find myself again.
I have been to a lot of rehabs, iop treatments and sober livings...also a lot of court mandated programs. With these treatment programs, some were forced and some were voluntary. I have never experienced the kind of love, support and care anywhere like I have at Casa. I have never experienced hope for myself and recovering until I went to Casa. It literally saved my life because the staff that work there taught me how to cope with life on life's terms, and the bonds formed there with the women was like nowhere else I'd ever been. The support and sisterhood is truly life changing.
I walked shamefully up the stairs to Casa Serena in 1992 and was only going to stay for 30 days because I was so terrified and unsure of myself. I ended up staying for the entire program which is 90 days at the Main House and continued for up to a whole year at the Graduate House! I am eternally grateful for this amazing home and program that both saved and changed my life! I have continued to participate in meetings there and do what they taught me in the first 90 days....make my bed first thing in the morning to create manageability in my life, continue allowing support in my life and be of service to the new women! I proudly state that I am a Casa Serena Sister and have witnessed the program grow and flourish over the years treating countless women and there families. Thank you Casa Serena for the on-going support in your aftercare groups and events that allow me to stay connected and continue to grow. Casa Serena and the entire staff are amazing and are the best ever!
An awesome opportunity for women in recovery in Santa Barbara. Warm and caring staff who really care about the residents.
Casa Serena has stood the test of time, as they’ve been working with women in recovery for 60+ years. Because they are a not-for-profit recovery home, they are able to make decisions that are in the best interest of their clients rather than a corporation. They have the highest ethical standards and provide the full range of professional services. As a local healthcare professional, I feel comfortable recommending their services without reservation.
If you are serious about your recovery, look no further. Best in the business.
Amazing recovery program designed to help women and their families recover from the ravages of alcoholism and drug addiction. Staff are caring, educated and compassionate led by an amazing Executive Director. Casa Serena rebuilds lives and does so with compassion and empathy.
Casa Serena showed me how to live a happy sober life, and how to be a mother to my children. I am forever grateful to Casa and the AMAZING staff for always providing a safe space for such incredible healing. Xoxo
I went through casa Serena years ago and I can honestly say it was the best experience I had being in a live in home. The staff was so caring and loving and helped me more than I can possibly have imagined . They offer so much support and help women get back on their feet and show us how to get back to being a active member of society . I am forever greatful to casa Serena and the amazing staff
I was referred to Casa Serena by my CWS social worker and can not begin to tell you how much this program has changed my life!!! I have struggled with my addiction for 22 years and after graduating this program I finally feel like I have a real chance at life. I have an amazing relationship with my daughter and my family now and I will get custody back in July. If I had not made the decision to enter Casa Serena in January I would definitely be dead by now. Not only am I alive, I am happier than I have ever been and I just got back from spending 3 days in Disneyland with my daughter!!! Life is better than I ever even dreamed it could be and it's all because of this program. Casa Serena gives hope to the hopeless and the staff there loves you and believes in you until you are able to love and believe in yourself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH DRUG/ALCOHOL ADDICTION!!!!!!

I entered Casa Serena in Jan. 2015 and now have 2 yrs 4 mo clean and sober. During my 25 year battle with drugs and alcohol I went through many programs. Casa Serena was the first place that treated the whole disease, mind, body, and spirit The house is beautiful and the staff is friendly and caring. I went to Oliver house and began learning how to be a mother again with the help of the other mom's. Casa Serena helped save my life and give my kids their mom back.
As an Interventionist and Addiction Specialist, I have referred many women to Casa Serena and have seen the miracle of changed lives. Casa Serena is a blessing to the recovery community. Thank you!
Casa serena helped me in so many ways. Most importantly the program gave me the tools I needed to get/ stay clean and sober and be a better mother to my two sons. They helped me get though a CWS case and get my kids back. I am and always will be forever grateful.
